Erik Nordvall (SWEDEN)
Erik Nordvall will discuss his way of interacting with the public and learn you new methods and techniques. Sitting at the table, as a stand-up magician or on stage. Erik is one of the most competent card magicians in Sweden who won many prestigious prizes and champion titles. He performed all over the world and will share with you his knowledge on entertainment value of an act and his experience in street magic. When he gets really going laughter will be all around.
MARTIN HANSSON (SWEDEN)
Martin Hansson, comedian, and magician with a sharp tongue and nimble fingers who has enchanted audiences all over the world. His experience and speed give him a highly energetic style, as a spectator, there is only one thing to do: let yourself be swept away. From Sweden, Martin is part of the magic ensemble Mystique in Stockholm and is currently the national champion of Sweden.

FISM winner of 2015, Mario López is one of the most devilish wizards. A pioneer of the “New Wave of Spanish magic” where body, heart, and eyes walk beside brains, hands, and smile. A fresh attitude together with his constant work leads to his organic art. We are excited to welcome him at the Dutch Festival of Magic.”
RICO WEELAND (NETHERLANDS)
Rico is a talented magician who was bitten by the magic bug back in 2012. The venom of the magic bug was highly poisonous and it forced Rico to do magic to this day. His perseverance resulted in a 3rd in the Dutch national championship back in 2016. Rico believes that there is a need for magic in modern society. Magic offers an escape from the “real world” and brings us back to a place where we were younger, where everything was still possible.
DAN CHARD (ENGLAND)
Daniel is a professional magician from Bristol, UK. He has been a resident of the UK ́s premier magic bar “Illusions Magic Bar” and performed two seasons at the “House Of Illusion” in Salou, Spain.
His debut DVD “Chardshark” great reviews and helped spread the word of Daniel ́s work. He released some of his pet sleights on a project called “Violin”(Magical Sleight), contributed to “Magic Magazine”, then followed a series of downloads with Ellusionist. Maturing as a creator and a performer, Dan’s latest project “Chardistry” is quickly gaining recognition among his peers as a respected creator.
ALANA (GERMANY)
Alana, daughter of the famous illusionists Frederik & Margit, took her first steps on stage on her fifth birthday. Ever since Alana won the German Grand Prix 2011, and was thus the first woman to achieve the prestigious title German Champion of Magic. She is considered today’s female shooting star among magicians. Her performance reflects a unique spontaneity and versatility together with female charme and elegance.
Her first original act was Magic In Style. Diamonds shine, pearls appear and high heels materialize from nowhere. In 2009 Alana presented her own 20 minutes show at the famous Magic Castle, Hollywood. The Grand Prix Award in Germany was followed only a few days later by the Russian Grand Prix of Magic 2011 at the White Magic convention in Perm. Alana’s unique act ‘In her hands’ makes dreams come true: reams of hands chase, tease and play with their mistress and make her favourite jewellery vanish and reappear. This award led Alana to the famous French TV Show Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde hosted by Patrick Sébastien who called her act “a triumph”. In the beginning of 2012 the Magic Circle awarded her as the Magician of the year in Germany.
SCOTT en MURIEL – The Accidental Illusionists
The Dutch-American duo Scott & Muriel call themselves The Accidental Illusionists. Since 1999 they make shows in which they combine the art of magic with modern, visual comedy. At the FISM World Championships in 2000 Scott & Muriel were the very first comedy-act ever to win the highest award in magic, the prestigious FISM GRAND PRIX.
They performed in more than 25 countries, with performances in the Cirque du Soleil, the Just for Laughs Festival, World Circus Carré (Amsterdam) and twice in the Circus Festival in Monte Carlo. They design their own with original illusions executed by two hilarious characters. In 2009 Scott & Muriel won the Golden Clown at the World Festival of Clowns in Russia. They also appeared in the famous Dutch TV programme De Wereld Draait Door, presented by Matthijs van Nieuwkerk, who was sawn in half for a live audience.
With more than two hours of original acts Scott & Muriel travel the world and perform in theatres, circuses, festivals and at parties and cruise ships. Scott & Muriel made four grand tours and participated with great success in many TV programmes, including six (!) “Got Talent”-shows.
Boris Wild
Boris Wild is an international performer, creator, author and lecturer from Paris. He is one of the most renowned French magicians in the world. His performances have already drawn thousands of spectators from London to New York, Las Vegas, Sydney, Cape Town, Tokyo…
His creativity and original approach of magic allow him to perform in the most prestigious venues in the world such as the famous “Magic Castle“ in Hollywood where he has already performed several hundreds of shows.
Boris is a French Champion of Magic, a Grand Prix Winner at the FFAP French Championships, a Monte Carlo Magic Stars Award Winner and a FISM Winner in card magic. He has appeared on international TV shows such as “Le Plus Grand Cabaret du Monde” (five appearances), “Champions of Magic” (USA), “International Close-Up Show” (China) and “Magic Castle 2018” (Japan). He has also appeared in the photo exhibition “The World’s Greatest Magicians“ in Stockholm (Sweden) and on the cover of international magazines such as The Linking Ring, Magicseen and GENII Magazine. Boris has been the Chairman of the Close-up Jury at FISM World Championships in Beijing and is the recipient of the Robert-Houdin Bronze and Silver Medals.
Dmitriy and Natalia
Natalia and Dmitriy are professional artists from Russia. They won the Grand Prix at the All-Russian Championships a few years ago and were prize winners in van “Masters of Magic” (Italy) and the Open Dutch Championships in 2017. With a completely new act, full of elegance, charm and colour, of which we have seen a preview at the FISM World Championships in Busan (S-Korea), they will perform in the Friday evening gala in Ede.
